Southside Christian School provides a Christ-centered environment where preschool children can experience learning through play and hands-on opportunities. Preschoolers can enjoy a safe atmosphere in which they can grow emotionally, physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually.

Through loving teachers, preschoolers at Southside Christian School learn positive ways of interacting with their classmates. Preschool learning includes language development, problem solving skills and small and large motor activities. Scripture and age appropriate math, reading and science are incorporated as well.

In 2025-2026 school year, we will be offering classes for 3 year old's, 4 year old's and a kinder prep class for both 4 and 5 year olds.

Morning classes start at 9am with pick up at 11:30am. Afternoon classes have pick up at 3pm.

Exploratory Kinder Prep — where little adventurers embark on a thrilling journey around the world without ever leaving their classroom! 

In this magical program, kids don’t just learn; they explore, they create, and they experience the world in the most exciting ways possible! Each week, they "travel" to a new country, discovering its vibrant culture, delicious food, and beautiful art through hands-on activities that spark their imagination.

 Art Adventures: Young explorers dive into global art forms, from African mask-making to Japanese brush painting. They’ll craft, color, and create masterpieces inspired by the traditions of the countries they "visit" — blending creativity with cultural discovery!

 Tasty Travels: Food is an adventure in itself! Little chefs will "taste" their way around the globe, preparing simple, kid-friendly dishes like Mexican tacos, Italian pizza, or Japanese sushi. They'll explore the flavors, colors, and stories behind each dish, learning how food connects people and places.

 Cultural Connections: Kids immerse themselves in the heart of each country's culture. Whether they’re dancing to Brazilian samba rhythms, learning greetings in French, or discovering ancient traditions, Exploratory Kinder Prep brings the world to life, making learning exciting, inclusive, and unforgettable.
